I just finished plowing through Breaking Bad myself, and it amazes me why the show isn't spectacularly popular. every scene is so intense, the performances are so great from everyone, every character is really interesting, and progressively grows more evil as the show goes on. the last few episodes of season 3 were definitely the best television ive seen since the wire.

californication is great too, has a little too much filler/dead end plots, and some really over the top moments, but every man should strive to be Hank Moody

I caught one episode of the current Mad Men season and it seems like a great show. I downloaded the first season last week, but haven't watched it yet.

I almost caught all the way up on Mad Men about a month ago, but watching S3E1 On Demand they showed a commercial for season 4 which absolutely ruined it for me, I think I still have 3-4 eps of season 3 and all of season 4 to catch up on....I've been slacking on my TV show watching, I've been meaning to start watching Breaking Bad for a while.

Chuck is a really good show, if you're on the fence check out Buzzman's sig haha. Californication is great, How I Met Your Mother is pretty funny, Leverage is pretty solid. One show I'd highly recommend is White Collar on USA, season 2 is just about to wrap up but it's a interesting because it focuses on white collar crimes instead of street crimes, and it's pretty funny.

Breaking bad is about a chemistry teacher who falls on financial hard times after he gets diagnosed with some sort of cancer. He recruits a student of his to help him cook meth and all sorts of shit happens. Run ins with the law, mexicans and all sorts of shit. It's a funny show and a damn good drama. It's probably the best show i've seen in a long time, i like it more than dexter and i know how much you like Dexter.
