    Terriers

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6DIYXWYBT0"]TRAILER[/ame]

Terriers, from Creator/Executive Producer Ted Griffin (Ocean's Eleven) and Executive Producer Shawn Ryan (The Shield), is a comedic drama starring Donal Logue (The Tao of Steve, Damages) and Michael Raymond-James (True Blood). It centers on "Hank Dolworth" (Logue), an ex-cop who partners with his best friend "Britt Pollack" (Raymond-James) to launch an unlicensed private investigation business. As Hank and Britt struggle with maturity issues, the duo solve crimes while avoiding professional dangers and personal responsibilities. Craig Brewer (Hustle and Flow, The Shield) directed the pilot episode.
    Pilot plot:

Hank and his hetero-life-partner Britt take money and favors in exchange for solving crimes and basically doing menial shit that you or I would say no to.

Like stealing a dog in exchange for free dry cleaning.

Or solving a missing persons case which in turn evolves into a murder case.

    Hijinx ensue.

It airs on Wednesdays on FX at 10 PM EST and you should probably watch it.

Second episode just about finished with a repeat on soon tonight.

Hank and Britt start feeling the ramifications of their planting the gun on Howard Lindus in the Pilot episode...

After a long interrogation by the local police department, Hank convinces Britt to help him find a criminal on the run for armed robbery.

Hijinx ensue, two dogs are pawned off on new owners (Britt gives his new dog to the criminal and the dog Britt/Hank stole in the Pilot episode now belongs to Britt and his GF), and we have overall plot growth.

Hank gets his old house back near the end and we get our first taste of how fucked up he truly is inside as he has a flashback from when he first got the house...

Before we fade to black, he ends up putting a hole in a wall.

If you haven't caught this show yet, I strongly suggest it (or at the very least, TiVO that shit, yo.).

New Episode on tonight at 9 CST/10 EST.

If you're going to jump on this train, now's the time before FX freaks out about the low ratings.

Really solid episode, it's definitely a different type of show than most of what's out there.

                      That ending... holy shit.

We go from Britt's past catching up to him (he was a crook specializing in B&E, robbery, theft, etc.), Hank doing the end-around to get a loan for his house (he faked a guy's infidelity in exchange for money to put on his new home), and more to:

Britt telling his girl that he robbed her and came back because he liked her (sound familiar? Go see The Town)... his girl in turn saw this as relationship defining experience and proceeded to give it up.

Hank on the other hand finally went straight to the point and just fucked the chick, got a bit of the stink finger and got what he wanted that way... which ended in the loan officer killing himself over it... which led to Hank forging the dead guy's signature to get the loan anyway.

Things are looking up for Britt and Hank is only digging himself into a deeper hole.

I can't wait until next week.

I woudln't worry about ratings. This is FX, not NBC. They'll give the show at least one full season and decide where to go from there.

I caught the re-air and I'm digging the call-backs already to stuff brought up in previous episodes.

-Obviously the overarching Lindus storyline for this season... you can't just frame a multimillionare without reprocussions later on in your life.

-From the very first conversation between Hank and Britt, we learn that Hank's food has been going missing in his fridge.

                            Now we know why.

Say hello to Hank's bi-polar super genius sister... who happened to have been living in his attic for the past two episodes... and overheard Hank banging the shit out of the wife of the now-deceased businessman.

Also, this week's episode leads me to believe that Hank and Britt are going to jail for all the implausible shit they manage to get themselves into.

last episode had 640,000 viewers. This show has no chance at a second season.
