Best Album and Song by decade

List your favorite by the decade, though I know alot of people have troubles with this and say "I can't just pick one" and I know half of you will name more then one.

    60's
Album: Rubber Soul by The Beatles
Song: Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan

    70's
    Album:
Song: Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin

    80's
    Album:
    Song:When Doves Cry by Prince

    90's
    Album: Illmatic by Nas
Song: They Reminsce Over You by Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth

    00's
    Album: Oracular Spectacular by MGMT
Song: Time To Pretend by MGMT

I hardly have any full CD's from the 70's and 80's. I like them, but none enough to claim my favorite yet.

      00s
album: Lupe Fiasco - Food and Liquor
song: Jay Electronica - Exhibit C

      ---

lol. This was super tough. The 60s - the birth of protest music, 70s - (IMO) golden age of rock and roll, 80s - so much metal, so much pop, so much new wave, 90s - punk, hip-hop, 00s - probably the easiest to do, though choosing Lupe over Kanye is tough.
