yeah, the scene where's he's lighting it up at the carnival was pretty on point. like he was having a good time taking out those targets.

So, were there silencers, back then? Or did the horn disguise the gunshot?

I'm so happy that this show is back.

Maybe shooting people on that side of the face will become his calling card, and thus ultimately end up outing him as the rouge assassin.

I think at some point, we are in for a painful Richard Harrow death scene. This show proved last season that they will whack anybody.

Yeah, good point, he must have blown the horn as he took out the driver.

That would make me sad. Great character, that Richard Harrow. I wish I could watch an entire show of just him being a bad ass merc.

Edit - I just recalled that his first kill on screen was a shot to a guy's cheek from long rage. Same side of the face, maybe? We could be reaching but

severe lack of van alden in the last episode :bucky:

good to see chalky come back after being absent for the majority of last season.

looks like they building towards a big blowoff between nucky and rosetti. i half expected margaret to come busting in on nucky with that dancer chick hes now banging. not exactly the most exciting episode and it was a bummer to not see van alden, capone, and harrow at all but still it was a great buildup to the showdowns between nucky and rosetti and nucky and margaret.

sidenote - mickey doyle is one of the best characters on TV = fact. im going to be devastated when he eventually gets killed off

Mickey Doyle is entertaining as hell.

It's crazy how Gyp Rossetti has been in two episodes and already I think he's going to kill every person he interacts with. You never know when he's going to blow up and he seems capable of doing anything at any time.

Good to see Eli back, he seems to be building toward redemption. I never liked him really, but the second he stepped out of that prison, sniffing the air and looking at he nothing in front of him, I was on his side. I like him so much more and he'll do well with Owen (who is turning into one of my favorite characters) and Mickey. Owen seems to have a respect for Eli that is definitely going to work toward his advantage.

I can't remember the guy's name - Chalky's right hand man - but he has also grown on me.

Speaking of Chalky, I'm glad to see he's getting more screentime, even if it is that it's not as exciting as what is going on with everything else.

Billie Kent is naked and fun, but Nucky being in love with her and being jealous kind of bores me.

It seems like we can never get Chalky and Richard in the same episode. Gotta have 10 minutes of Margaret at the hospital trading barbs with some douche doctor.

Seriously, what is that building to? The season finale going to be her in a heated medical board meeting argument?

I think the idea is that after speaking with the salty doctor and the broad who dropped her zygoat on the lobby floor, Margaret once again had the guilt filled epiphany that the woman's life could have easily been her life, if she had not sold out her morals to Nucky in exchange for her lavish lifestyle that she now takes for granted.

Or some shit like that. Obviously the entire series is building to the cresendo of Margaret finally making the full babyface turn and taking down Nucky. I've come to terms with this. Various babyfaces (Jimmy) & heels (The Commadore, Rossetti) will come and go to keep Nucky occupied, but in the end, Margaret will be the final protaganist. And it sucks.

I gotta gun. He's gotta gun. They got guns.

                            We all got guns.

Rosetti is probably the best character on the show. You never know when he's about to light a dude on fire or something.

I feel like everybody he talks to is about to die. When he was ordering that spaghetti I was like, nooooo bitch, don't talk to him like he's dumb! I thought she was dead for sure

LOL, I am glad I'm not the only one digging that character. He's so thin skinned and sensitive about everything. When he feels he is being talked down to he gets so visibly upset... Whoever he is having a conversation with at any time is always one pussy hair away from being fed a lead sammich.
