I have a terrible feeling Owen is dead by season's end.

Watched Sunday's episode last night. Shit is getting serious with Owen/Margaret.

Curious to see where they take the Gyp/Nucky feud from here now that Nucky seems to be on his own. I'm sure the others will get fucked up and come to Nucky looking to form some sort of alliance.

This shit with Richard Harrow falling in love is just making his likely untimely demise even more harsh on us. I just hope he kills Gillian Darmody beforehand; seems obvious that his life has been forfeit since Germany so if he can at least get some vengeance for himself and Jimmy that would be better.

i think Richard may be too popular to kill right now. He's easily the biggest fan favorite after they took out Jimmy, there's no way they'd do that to us two seasons in a row. Killing Richard this season would be a serious case of "we needed to do SOMETHING". I think Richard survives, Owen and Gyp will be the big losses come the end of the season (maybe Van Alden too, but he hasn't been involved enough to justify his death. He deserves a more important send off). Gyp dying is obvious, but it will be a fun ride. Owen's death will either come during the war w/ Gyp or due to Nucky's jealousy.

I think Harrow's self redemption is what is keeping him alive. He went from almost shooting himself in the face to taking care of his buddy's kid and meeting a nice girl. Killing him now would just be evil on the writer's part. They can't do that shit again after Jimmy and expect the audience not turn on them.

Yeah it sucks, he deserved a better send off, but as Glen said, this was necessary to get the reveal effect of Margaret's reaction. Great acting in that scene by Buscemi and Macdonald.

I'm just playing devils advocate here but we never actually saw Masseria or however you spell it at the bath house IIRC just Owen inside for a second. I know Lucky let Masseria know there would be an attempt on his life but there's no way he knew it would be at the bath house. The only people who knew were the random fuck with the info, Eli, Mickey and Owen.


Edit: I just rewatched it. Owen checked into the bath house with the random dude with the info and they got 2 towels so the dude stayed. Why wasn't the dude in the crate as well?

He's a fed so killing him would bring heat.

He could still be dead too but sending him in a box to Nucky would seem kind of pointless next to Owen.

The episode set us up for all out war to close the season and I . Even Margaret is probably on board to avenge Owen.

Probably my favorite Gyp episode so far. Every scene with that goofy cousin gave me a little rush because you knew he was going down.
