Does anybody think there is a chance Nucky can die at all in this series? At first I would say no way, but the introduction to this larger universe they are bringing in following this season finale war is a good spot to sorta "reboot" and focus more attention on other minor characters that could jump into the leading spotlight if Nucky were to die.

I really doubt it. The show is about his empire. Maybe a spin off show or something but even that is unlikely. If Jimmy were still alive then I could definitely have seen it happening, a transition of power. Now though, we're with Nucky for the whole ride until he is brought down for good.

Everyone else is fair game though. However many are historical figures so they likely won't go before their time which is sort of lame. Thats why taking out Jimmy so early was such a big risk, because there is no way they are offing Nucky.

Stephen Graham. Been one of my favorite actors for a while now, This is England, The Damned Utd, Gangs of New York, etc. Apparently Scorsese calls him "my British Joe Pesci."

Gyp's demise was anti climatic. I was hoping he would make it out of this episode and carry over into next season. Oh well.

Very tense, just like last week. Loved the interaction between Capone & Chalky.

MY MAIN MOTHER FUCKIN DUDE RICHARD HARROW GOIN ON THE RAMPAGE OF THE CENTURY. Doesn't seem like the family life is going to happen though, who knows where he'll end up. I actually wouldn't mind that being the end for him, he got Tommy into a better life and thats all he truly cared about.

Maybe I missed something but a couple things seemed unclear to me:

First, Rothstein arrested Lucky so he'd give up his stash of heroin, so AR could have something Masseria wanted. Is that right?

Also, why did Capone and Chalky kill all of Masseria's guys as they were leaving? I thought they just decided on peace and then they killed a bunch of people. Unless that was Nucky double crossing AR and Masseria and making a power move. Which I guess goes hand in hand with him giving 99% ownership to AR only to give him up to Mellon and the Feds.

Nucky did a little foreshadowing when he was fixing the car with Eli. He said something along the lines of "Why do we always want more?"

Nucky is very power hungry and with AR and Masseria out of the picture the bootlegging business and the rest of the world is his oyster. That's at least what i got out of it.
