kind of figured the show would be coming to an end sooner than later but i didnt think it would be after just one more season.

Sucks knowing next year will be the last but I'd rather see a show end a season too early than 4 seasons too late (everything on Showtime).

When you go into a series trying to tell a good story, it really is the best amount of time. Everything has a beginning, middle and end, and you don't want a bunch of fluff in your series. Interesting concept when you start looking at other shows going longer than five seasons like Sons of Anarchy. Is the extra two seasons going to hurt it. Game of Thrones will also run 7 seasons, but I don't believe anyone thinks they will mess it up, and they have a ton of source material.
