Although I don't tend to buy into the Jane thing as much. Walter didn't really kill her. She rolled over and vomited in her mouth and died when he tried to wake Jesse. Sure Walter didn't help save her or anything, but killing is a strong word in this case compared to what Walt has done.

There is absolutely no way that Jesse finds out about Jane unless Walt confesses that he was there when she died. That could happen but I don't see how that would benefit Walt.

He easily could have helped her and chose not to, to serve his own interests.

Agreed. The Good Samaritan law on the books in New Mexico only encourages that a person seek assistance if they witness someone in distress. It is not against the law to do nothing.

Yeah. They thought if they had Walter go all of the way with his turn that early that the audience would lose sympathy with Walt, which has been vital to the series being so good.
