    I love reading people's theories

The watch given to Walt is jus like the one Steve McQueen had. Steve happened to have died from lung cancer...

Thought about this one on my own:

What if Walt is the rat? Its been shown he'll do anything to survive, and what if he ratted out the whole operation for immunity and thats why he went to New Hampshire. Obviously in the end he's coming back with that machine gun to do something, but in the year in between I could see him going to Hank, telling him everything, and going into witness protection.

The guy who plays Hank did an interview on NPR today and mentioned this -

…Let me just say that there is a even more chilling scene involving that baby later on this season.

Think this is exactly what Gilligan was talking about.

Some leaked scans of the Rolling Stone article: http://mctothevoy.tumblr.com/

Interesting spoiler-ish hints from Cranston in that link. He says he asked Vince Gilligan for some more information on what Walt is doing in the S5 Denny's flash forward before they filmed. These were the answers Vince gave...

            Brian: Am I alone?
            Vince: Yes

Brian: Why am I coming back to Albuquerque?
Vince: You're coming back because you need to protect someone.

            Brian: Is the cancer back?
            Vince: Possibly.

I know it'd already been speculated that Walt had come back to ABQ since he came from New Hampshire and the waitress thought he might be on his way to California. It's no big surprise that Walt is currently working alone either. But it's interesting to know that Walt has bought that machine gun to protect someone, not for some Gus-style revenge massacre. The gun seller does tell Walt "good luck" so is Walt on some sort of rescue mission? Who is the person Walt is trying to protect? I guess the obvious candidate would be Jesse. It could be someone in Walt's family, but they can seek police protection if they are in danger.

What are the possibilities of Walt just pulling Hank in and paying him off/making him a deal? Hank is a tough cookie, but you never know where these writers are going.

I highly doubt that is even remotely possible.

Considering the fact that he was almost murdered by two Mexican cartel hitmen for 'interfering' into Gus' and Walt's drug operation. That alone would make him want to kill Walt, not help him.

I still see a Reservoir Dogs type of ending for Walt and Hank.

Jesse will make it out alive but Hank and Walt will end up dead.

That's what I've been predicting since the beginning of Season 4. A few others will die along the way as well, but Jesse will be the last man standing sorta speak.

Which I don't mind Jesse is my favorite character if they ever want to do something after the show is over like a spin-off why not with Jesse?

I'm hoping for Saul and Huell.

I don't think there is enough there Saul and Huell are great supporting characters but they could never be leads, I expect Walt to kill Saul eventually.

Saul's criminal connections run deep. His connections pretty much keep Jesse and Walt going. You might be right, maybe a Saul, Jesse, Huell spinoff; although, I think Gilligan will just end the whole thing after this season.

Agreed I think thats the best way to do it. Hopefully they do just take the Breaking Bad name and characters and whore them out if Vince Gilligans name isn't on it I don't trust it.
