Is this the "Lost meets 24" shit I saw a preview for yesterday?
If so, looks terrible. Definitely won't be watching.
I thought so to, but apparently both the average nerd and the TV Critics enjoyed it at Comic Con when the Pilot was screen there, so definatly looking forward to it to fill my sci-fi hole that was left by Lost.
I'll watch, but it will be on a short leash for me. Why?
1.)I have a big feeling this is going to be like Jericho / FastForward. Not in the storyline, exactly, but in the way the characters are developed and the story drags on. These types of storylines are difficult because if you blow your load early, you are left with no surprises. But if you don't give away much early, you fear boring, dragging plots that people become disinterested in.
2.) It's on NBC. NBC has become a terrible network and it's ratings the last couple years almost put it out of the "Big 3." Almost like a second tier audience bringer. NBC hasn't launched a hugely popular show in a few years (no, The Office is not a megahit like most who watch it think it is...it still finishes last most weeks compared to CBS, ABC, and sometimes Fox).
IMO...this show will be more hype than delight, and will burn out. Second season at this point is 50/50.
