Just got done watching Batman: Under the Red Hood on Netflix Instant View last night. Badass movie, really enjoyed the representation of the Jason Todd storyline.

But if he is trying to stay somewhat close to the more known villains you gotta think Cobblepot, Catwoman, Bane, Harley Quinn...

Ecstatic it won't be in 3D. Have no interest in 3D movies and it's very annoying that every movie coming out is in 3D.

Only reason TDK has the status it does is because of Heath Ledger. That movie would be just another Batman flick without his Joker.

Change batman to a cop and joker to a gangster and it would easily be one of the best gangster films made. The movie was a phenomenal.

No. Ledger's performance is what made it phenomenal. So if it was Heath playing the gangster in the same sense it'd still be phenomenal.

agreed, no Superhero film will ever be as good as TDK, and most of it is because of Heath

i do think Batman 3, or TDKR will be up there though, i didnt think Inception would do very well, probably make like 400-500 mill, right now its at like 800 mill. Nolan is a great director, and as a Superman fan, i hope he can work his magic with Snyder.

I thought Riddler would be good for the next Batman film, but i agree, he is just too similar to the Joker. Although, there were a lot of rumors that guy in TDK that found out about Bruce could be the Riddler, Mr. Reese, Mysteries. Names i'm seeing for villain are Killer Croc, Hush, Black Mask, and Bane, i think Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist could be done, like Hugo Strange, and Zsasz is already in the series, escaped from Arkham

1 more thing, was reading that they are looking for a female lead, could be Catwoman, or maybe Vicki Vale

So because it is partly being shot in New Orleans, I think Killer Croc makes some sense. Tom Hardy (from Inception) was recently added to the cast and could be a potential villain. The direction they are going, I could see Bane, Hugo Strange, Mad Hatter, or Black Mask being potential fits. No Freeze made sense, no Riddler was a bit surprising.
