King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

I just watched this for the first time...it was fantastic, but the people in it were ridiculous! Has anyone else seen this? If so, what did you think?

One of my all time favorite documentaries. Billy Mitchell is the ultimate nerd villain.

        Awesome doc.

The characters were hysterical and so either good/bad it was like pro wrestling.

Great documentary. I saw it when it first came out on DVD because it had to 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Really great, definitely entertaining and interesting.

One of the best docs. ever.

My favorite character: Guy who holds the world record for Marble Madness with his feet... him and Brian Kuh.

Upon further review, it's my second favorite documentary ever. Just edges out Man on Wire but falls short of Hoop Dreams.

                  It's tremendous though.

Brian Kuh was possibly the most ridiculous person in the movie. At least Billy Mitchell held the Donkey Kong record at one point...Kuh is like a Mitchell "wanna-be", making the conscious decision to be like Billy Mitchell. Mean-spirited dorks are the worst.

If you look him up now it's even more hilarious, he owns like 150+ records, all in games nobody gives two shits about.

very good doc and I loved how south park parodied it slightly with their episode "more crap"

I remember them having an actual viewing event at my school when this came out. I didn't go because I had no interest in it. Since then I have seen it about 4 times. Might watch it today, because it's on Netflix.
