Quit hating, open up your mind a little bit and just go see it. I'm tired of your negativity!!

I will definitely see it at some point but I'm not in a hurry like I was with Black Swan or 127 Hours.

Everybody knows. Every time anyone brings up the Fighter you feel the need to chime in about how you're not excited for it or how bad it looks.

We get it, you're not a boxing guy, you don't like cliche movies, you're too cool for school. Just so you know, it is based on the true story of Micky Ward. If you ever seen one of his fights, you'll probably appreciate the movie much more.

I am very much aware of who it is about. Did you know that none of the Gatti fights are covered in the movie?

Yeah I did. Was disappointed at first but I like that it is about him rather than his fights. I know about all of his fights, I don't know all that much about him.

Yeah I can see that. I just found that surprising.

I'm only seeing The Boxer cause Amy Adams is in it, gotta support my read heads.

Amy Adams looks like a slutty whore in THE FIGHTER.

Saw The Fighter yesterday and it was pretty awesome. Marky Mark was himself, as always. Christian Bale, Melissa Leo and Amy Adams were terrific, though.

No way Christan Bale doesn't win an Oscar for this role. He was hilarious, pathetic and brilliant (when it came to boxing) all at the same time. At the end, they show a quick scene of the real life Micky Ward and Dicky Eckland. How Dicky acted in that clip was practically identical to how he was portrayed. Hopefully, absorbing himself into a character should finally pay off for him.
