I love the show. It is predictable but I don't care, I am a sucker for a good glory type of Rocky story.

The acting is great, the chemistry between pretty much all of the characters is very good.

The thing with a boxing show is that it has to be somewhat realistic. I'd rather it be like this than all crazy with a bunch of unpredictable twists and turns and over the top and unrealistic.

I too love Ed Romeo (Eammon Walker). Loved him in Oz and especially Blood and Bone where he is the main villain that Michael Jai White fights. Dude plays a nice creep.

i think his entire family contains terrible actresses. I can't stand watching any of them. Then some plot points are just plain unbelievable. How the hell does Omar just suddenly show up out of no where and get a title shot?

Honestly, I'm not too sad.

The only character I was ever invested in was Lights. All of the women in his life SUCK and his brother and father are selfish tards.

They fucked up by making Ed Romeo such a bad guy, when what he was doing was absolutely the right thing.

Don't know if they cancelled the show before the finale but I just watched it and it was downright awful.

Quite possibly the worst season finale I've ever watched. Poorly written, cheaply produced, awful ending. Just all around terrible. What a disappointment.

They announced the cancellation a week or two ago.

They did the best with what they had.

I'm assuming Lights won?....This is two straight cancellations for FX (let's not get started on Terriers again) hopefully Wilfred is as funny as I'm anticipating.

I think the characters, for the most part, were very poorly written. Combine that with a bunch of second-rate actors and most of the dialogue came out atrociously.

Season 1 of this show displayed no promise for me, even outside of ratings. Glad it got canned.

Terriers...

I keep the pilot episode on my PS3 as a Memorium and I regret every day that I didn't stay with the season.

They let Nip/Tuck go 6-7 seasons and it was garbage during the last half.

Lights Out? It was aight if you're trying to tell a decent "Road to the Title" story...

But how many boxing movies have been out with the same theme?

Also, when people think of fighting now, it's the UFC and Cage Fighting, not boxing.

Then again, that might only get one season as well.

Show wasn't bad, however some of the worst boxing scenes I have ever seen. Almost unwatchable, rocky looked more realistic. Not sad to see it go more upset I even watched it what a waste.
