      The thing about Goldeneye is that......it was a great comeback movie for the franchise. Also it was a pretty original script, it wasn't like the Never Say Never Again vs Thunderball, which were basically the same fuckin movie.

      The problem with Goldeneye was that it started this dumb romantic angle on Bond, where he actually starts caring about the good bond girls. Which led to that colossal failure called Die Another Day, where he sleeps with the good Bond girl first and she doesn't fuckin die. WTF.

      You can argue that Craig's movies are doing the same thing, but his movies are a reboot, intended to show why Bond is the way he is. In Casino Royale the death of his chick, pisses him off to no end into the second movie, but by the end of Quantum he's turned into the spy they need him to be.

        Daniel Craig >>>> all except Connery

        Goldeneye was excellent but after that, all of Brosnan's Bonds were far more campy than anything Roger Moore did. And probably since Moore is actually the Bond of my youth, I like him.
