surprised i didn't see a thread for this IFC show yet? they do a great job skewering hipsters. the first season is just a short 6 episodes long, but they've been signed up for an 11 episode season 2.

Watched the first season and loved it.

As someone who most would describe as a hipster, I'm even more sure that I don't exist in a hipster "state of mind".

I'm from Austin. These two cities, aside from weather, are eerily similar in mindset to a degree.

Silicon valleys first few and last few eps were hysterical. I may try Portlandia again but it seemed reeaaally slow and dry when I watched. I loved Fred Armisen on SNL.

I just found it odd that our situation was damn near identical. It was a drunk post. I could have sworn I bolded the changes.
