My wife likes house, I'm not a fan, but there are worse shows out there. Bell every show on TLC. But if we exclude reality shows to me I can't stand CSI, any of them.Comment

Pick any one of the Thursday night NBC comedies (if you want to call them that, none are really funny). For all of the "Emmy nominations" they get.....their ratings all suck balls. And ratings are what matter because they are decided by the public viewers. Emmy nominations are decided by the elite Jew population in Hollywood But then again we are talking about NBC, they can't cancel them because they have zero to replace them with. They truly are an awful network and are LITERALLY on the verge of falling into a second tier a la CW and MyNetwork.Comment

I'm not a fan of what little I've seen of the new NBC comedies either, but the argument of ratings =/= quality TV is I think exactly what this thread is focusing on.Comment

According to the title, it can be interpreted any way the reader wants. To me, I based my answer on ratings and quality. NBCs comedy Thursday continues to get poor ratings and lacks any type of quality, but somehow the shows never seem to get cancelled. (but we know why in this case)Comment

And I don't really understand why anything other than quality would matter. Shit is shit, regardless of whether or not it's being watched by a lot of people, and quality is quality regardless as well. The Wire wasn't a ratings juggernaut, yet it is arguably the greatest show ever. The fact that not many people watched it doesn't change that.Comment

Two and a Half Men. This has been discussed at length around here. Just an awful, awful, lame show that is never funny ever.
Wheel of Fortune. I figured this would die along with the seniors who watch it, but I guess you turn 65 and automatically become a viewer. They give you half the alphabet in the bonus round now, and people still manage to blow it. Sajack doesn't even try anymore. I watched the other day and he kept making snide, sarcastic comments at the mouth breather who kept buying vowels despite the answer being obvious. WHY DO THEY DO THAT?
Meet The Browns. Unwatchable. Tyler Perry is the worst.Comment
