True Grit
Inception
Toy Story 3
The Social Network
Black Swan
Winters Bone
I think all of those movies were atleast good. I'm no movie buff who thinks about how someone directed the movie or thinks really really in-depth about the movie. I just rank the movies on the amount of enjoyment that I get out of saying it. There may be some other things but that is the main one.
I personally think Winter's Bone or Inception were my favorite films out of the ones I've seen. Social Network and True Grit were movies I really really liked, but not enough to love it. Toy Story 3 and Black Swan were good movies that I liked quite a bit. I didn't love them as much as most people seem to, but I can see why they would love them, especially Black Swan. I do like the story of Black Swan with the twists and the ending itself was just great. But I just remember for most of the movie I felt a tiny bit bored. I can't really explain it, but it is just something that left me wanting more as a whole. I don't think you could ask for more at the end, but just leading up towards maybe 3/4's of the way through I struggled to pay attention.
There was only three movies I've seen that came out in 2010 that I left it thinking to myself "That is quite possibly the best movie of the year." And those were Inception, Winter's Bone, and (Puts on flame suit) The Town.
I've still yet to see Kings Speech, The Kids Are Alright, 127 Hours, but I plan to soon. And I hear nothing but raving reviews from peers about Kings Speech.
"It's the revenge of the dicks that's nine cocks that cock nines"
The Social Network - Good film. Solid acting all around. Regardless of where the truth lies, I think the movie did a good job of making a fair presentation of each character.
Animal Kingdom was the best Australian film I've ever seen. So that means it was better than Mad Max
As far as the best picture nominees I've seen all of them but The Fighter, The Kids are All Right, and The Kings Speech, but I really don't have very much desire to see any of them.
I thought the actor who played the main character did a great job, not an extraordinary character in any way, just a very realistic and believable one.
