    Yeah...saw Man of Steel.

It's pretty much the best superhero movie I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. I don't understand the bad reviews it's getting. The pacing was a little off, but I didn't go for pacing.

I went to see Superman actually do super stuff. He did...that's for damned sure.

Sat down and did my boyfriend duty and watched these with Miss Villain:

As a former (into to..) film student, I will admit enjoyed these movies from a technical perspective - even if the story wasn't extremely gripping. The dramatic structure is much different than the traditional "western" dramatic structure (conflict, rising action, climax, etc.) so this olden style of storytelling was interesting to see in modern cinema (apparently it was common in ancient Greek plays).

Anyways, I've suffered through like 5 chick flicks in almost 3 years with her so I can't really complain. If this is what it takes to get her into Game of Thrones, then I'm happy to sacrifice for our greater enjoyment.

John Dies At The End - Ridiculous, but I lul'd.

Justice League: DOOM - Not a bad interpretation of Tower of Babel...its just Tower of Babel, if you took it frame by frame, was better.

I watched This is the End last night. I don't think there are many quotables in the movie, but it was very funny from beginning to end. Definitely worth a watch, probably doesn't have as much ability to be watched again, but it was solid.

I don't get the ending of Magic Mike.

He gave away almost all of his life savings and on top of that quit his job. He was having trouble reaching his dream even with easy stripper money...what's he gonna do now?

Good thing the movie stopped there, seemed like things were going about to go downhill for our hero

Hansel and Gretel: Witchunters: 2/5, wasn't terrible but it wasn't good, seemed like a lot of the violence and crass language was shoved into the script so it would be rated R.

When it comes to corny melodramas, it doesn't get much better than this.

                              Half-way through Die Hard.

Does it get good or does Bruce Willis climb around like Laura Craft for the rest of the movie? Getting close to turning it off.

                                1. It's Lara Croft.

                                2. Pretty sure she's from the mid-90's and Die Hard was made in 1988. Lara Croft climbs around like John McClane.

                                3. If you don't like Die Hard, you've lost my internet friendship and every kind word I've ever said to help rebuild your reputation around here. I will no long vouch for your character.
