Knight and Day - Predictable. Not bad but nothing special. Pretty much what I had in mind when starting the movie.

Death Race 2 - Enjoyed the 1st one a lot more than most people. Turned this piece of shit off and 20-30 minutes.

Gamer - I know a lot of people didn't like it so maybe my expectations were low, but I thought it was pretty decent. A lot of action but a lot of repetition.

Wouldn't watch any of these movies again, but I enjoyed Gamer and Knight and Day the first time through. Death Race 2 is the reason people use torrents instead of renting or buying. It wasn't worth 5 cents, let alone $5-$20 for renting or buying.

Audition - took way too long to build up for a pretty disgusting, not really even creepy, just pretty disgusting climax/10

Ink - Felt like a shitty SyFy channel mini series way too often. Only redeeming quality was the visual style of the bad guys.

              The Other Guys

I laughed a decent amount. Eva Mendes was hot. It was just about everything I expected.

Dinner for Schmucks: 5.7/10 - There's no denying it had potential, but Dinner for Schmucks is just another mediocre comedy of 2010 that seems perfectly satisfactory in appealing to a mainstream audience while tip-toeing around deeper, more profound ways of telling a story. The overdone story of not judging a book by its cover takes center stage and it is accompanied by a typical chaotic storyline revolving around friendship, love and a third-party source (in this case, work) that all somehow end up working out for all favorable parties. Sadly, Steve Carell's schmuck had the back story for success, but wasn't capitalized upon. Being an idiotic oddball who lost his wife to another man is the perfect foundation for character depth and development, yet Dinner for Schmucks simply throws this into their pile of gags. Steve Carell and Paul Rudd do their best, but there never seems to be any connection between the two. Carell's character simply becomes annoying and slightly creepy while the audience can't help but feel for Rudd's character. Throughout the film, Carell simply tags along with Rudd, but neither really act out any emotion towards each other as the characters are too vague and the script too forward. Instead, their relationship is conveyed strictly by overused, corny words. With its cast and story, there's no denying there was room to build, but Dinner for Schmucks is just another film that succumbs to the whims of mainstream culture, dumbing down story, character, dialogue and even humor...sometimes this isn't a problem. If the film is funny then all is forgiven; however, Dinner for Schmucks just isn't funny enough to make up for its opting for the shortcut.

The Other guys- Pretty much what I expected. Good for some decent laughs but otherwise nothing groundbreaking here.

I wish the whole conspiracy thing was handled different. I think it would have been funnier if we found out at the end that there was no conspiracy and the two main characters had been reading way to far into things. Instead it went for the predictable happy ending.

Machete- So bad its awesome. I was laughing through the entire movie at how ridicolously over the top some of the scenes were which I'm assuming is done purposely (since its supposed to be like the explotation films). Loved De Niro as the senator and Cheech as padre. Just a check your brain at the door and have a shit load of fun movie. Also at some point in this movie, I came to realize that I still want to fuck lindsay lohan. Even as a shell of her former self, she still does it for me. I should probably seek some kind of help because that can't be a good sign.

                      What a soulless, paint-by-numbers remake.

I just watched an hour of Dinner for Schmucks and couldnt make it through the last 54 minutes to see said Dinner. I just turned that turdpile off.

I like Paul Rudd but he's has the Michael Cera same character in every movie thing going it seems.

I thought it was very average but I though Steve Carrell's character was really funny and he was the only reason I enjoyed the movie.
