    R.I.P. TV on the Radio's Gerard Smith



    TV on the Radio bassist Gerard Smith lost his battle lung cancer. According to a statement the band's website, Smith passed away this morning. All upcoming shows have been cancelled due to the loss.

    The band released their new album just 8 days ago, too.

      Wow, they just announced a week or two ago the he was even battling cancer. Really sad stuff.

          RIP. I had no idea they put out a new album. I liked Dear Science so I'll check that out.
