    Rare Tupac interview

Video: Tupac Shakur: Lost Prison Interview Circa 1994! "Uncut & Uncensored" [45 Minutes]

Imagine the positive influence he could have had, I guarantee the world would be a different place had he not been taken from us. Reminds me of that old Bill Hicks bit talking about the people capable of the most positive influence on mankind always being killed:

    Real shit.

You sure this was "lost"? I've seen clips of that before.

Yeah I remember clips of it in the Resurrection doc, it's probably just never been released in it's entirety before.

Don't mean to start shit but when you say the world would be a more positive place had he not been killed...how so?

While he appeared to have concerns about the plight of people, he was an entertainer. Sure, he would have had his charities and causes and shit, but how much difference could he have had?

I could see him releasing more material on social issues and whatnot.

I mean it the same way as saying the world would be a different place today had Michael Jackson been able to perform those final concerts (which were all completely sold out) Here's a quote from Pac:

"I'm not saying I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world."

Do you think artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, etc. would be around today if a real artist like Shakur was still alive? The rap music bar sure sank pretty quickly after his assassination.

              Umm yeah.

Michael Jackson being alive didn't stop pop artist like N'Sync and The Backstreet Boys.

Mick Jagger still being alive hasn't stopped bands like Fall Out Boy and Bullets for My Valentine from forming.

This whole post is retarded. Yes, if 2Pac was alive we would still have artists like Lil Wayne and Drake, infact, Lil Wayne already had a record deal when Pac was still alive.

Why the fuck would the world be a different place if Michael Jackson got to do his last tour? It would have no impact on the full scale of life on earth. Get the fuck out of here with this shit.

He was a very good rapper, but definitely a bit overrated. I think rap would be different if he were still around and the mainstream artists wouldn't be as successful as they are now

Fuck you, Backstreet Boys are dope

and I haven't seen the interview you posted or this movie I'm about to mention, but based on the setting and everything, I think this might be from the movie "Tupac: Uncensored and Uncut: The Lost Prison Tapes", it is on netflix instant if anyone wants to watch it on there.

Quickly? False. Rap's bar didn't sink that much until the early-mid 00's, which is around 7-9 years after his death. Wayne's been out since '97, a year after Pac's death. He'd be around still even if Pac was, maybe not as big, but he would still be a well known name in the rap community.
