I was actually fine with how Sopranos ended.......I was mocking the marjority of viewers who were pissed about fading to black. I mean Entourage's season ending was quite possibly atrocious compared to the endings of shows like Sopranos and LOST. Nothing happened in this final episode except Ari quiting his own business. Rest of the episode coulda been told to us in an end credit on screen write up explaing what the remaining characters end up doing for the rest of their lives like the movies back in the day.

I had the final three episodes on my DVR and only watched them Saturday. Sorry, but every guy succeeding kinda sucked. Too formulatic.
I can live with the ending of the series, but it still doesn't work.

finally got around to watching season 8. i actually watched the entire series and finished season 8 today. the show never got back to what was so great about season 1. It got so over the top and repetitive that by the end of season 4 i was disgusted with the show. Season 7 finally gave us some new things with Vinces addiction and i enjoyed season 8. the characters may have been given a bit of fluff, but at least we got something new by getting to know them after 8 seasons.

obviously the final shows were very predictable and unrealistic, but the shows entire theme over 8 seasons was how everything will work out...it always worked out before so why would we expect them to change that now. but i enjoyed the season alot.

i am curious if anyone will develop a new Ari show because of him getting that offer to be the CEO of the studio parent company. they left that door open after the end credits.

The Ari show will never happen...it'll be a concept always kicked around, but it'll never come to fruition. Just like the Saul spinoff for Breaking Bad. Awesome concept to take an awesome character, but it'll never be greenlit.

I looked into it, filming just started maybe three weeks ago. The last I had checked, they weren't sure if everything was going to come together and get off the ground.
