And rightfully so...he's going to be CGI for 97% of the movie.

Cap's new suit for the Avengers, displayed at Comic Con! It reminds me of a blue bat suit!

I don't really know anything about Captain America, but to me he's the most interesting of the Marvel heroes. Can someone explain to me how he gets from WWII to the present day?

Suspended animation... Basically frozen in time. Really what happened is kids stopped reading Cap's comics after WWII, so he kind of faded away and Fantastic 4, Spiderman and Hulk took center stage. If I remember right I think Capitan America was one of Stan Lee's company's first Super Heros. I think they came up with him even before the company was called Marvel.

FYI the movie Capitan America goes over how he gets to modern day.

I heard a rumor about what happens when he wakes up, I thought it said he just slept for 70+ yrs, but I guess their gonna do the traditional thing and have him frozen. I find the whole thing kind of stupid, Evans is contracted for many movies, but if they freeze him at the end, they cant exactly just go back to the war and get more stories, so he's pretty much stuck in the present, and i've also been hearing Cap and Tony dont get along very well, so maybe he'll show up in some other Marvel movies

Cap in modern times will be better IMO, I'm not that found of the period stuff. Plus it will give Cap's character a lot more to work with seeing as how he has to catch up with history. He has plenty of evils to fight in modern times, like domestic terrorism. And I'm sure they can make him a covert agent for Shield, seeing as how he works with the American Government.

A little bit of the Avengers Teaser and like the last 30 secs of Captain America: First Avenger. Somewhat Spoilerish if you haven't seen Captain America you've been warned!

That's not it at all. The head of Marvel kept fucking around and not being honest with Norton and his agent, so Norton told him to go suck a bag of dicks.
