you guys are such fucking snobs. its funny. do you not have real life friends? you love to come on vsn and complain about people that like music or shows or movies in real life but its just overrated.... but really you literally just don't like or stop liking certain things because the public does. it's hilarious. hangover movies arent great, but it gives you something to do with your friends rather than sit inside on vsn all day. give it a shot sometime faggots.Comment

I have no idea how anyone who has seen Hangover II could possibly get tricked into seeing this..
Here's the plot... gang gets back together, someone inconsequential goes missing, hijinks ensue during the search, a wild animal not native to the setting will appear, there WILL be a B-level star making a cameo and in the end the whole gang will stand with their arms on each others shoulders watching the sunrise (or set) and talk about what a wild ride it was....
...but wait...
...my God, it can't be. IT IS! IT'S THE PHANTOM CAMERA WITH THE KRRRRRAAAAZZZZYY PICTURES WE'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE LAID OVER THE CREDITS!Comment

I hope it's differant..
The Hangover was pretty much a sequel to Old School.
Premise
• Three guys casting off family and responsibility in order to get back in touch with their inner bro. Things inevitably go way too far...
Characters
• The handsome, married alpha-male ringleader who pushes the gang further into debauchery.
(Vince Vaughn/Bradley Cooper)
• The gentle but unstable teddy bear who saves the day with an inexplicable, deus-ex-machina burst of genius (beating James Carville in a debate/Summoning Rain Man at the blackjack table).
(Will Ferrell/Zach Galafianakis)
• The cuckolded loser who comes out of the whole experience with a new lease on life, and a possibility of true love.
(Luke Wilson/Ed Helms)
Plot points
• A dude cheers when the unstable teddy bear character gets accidentally shot in the head with a non-lethal weapon.
(Seann William Scott/Rob Riggle)
• Saying/doing inappropriate things in front of a baby.
• A performance by the Dan Band.
Hmm...

Lets be realistic here. You know the characters, the plot, the twists and turns. You know the story will make zero fucking sense and the jokes are likely not going to hit hard because the likelihood of them being original are slim to none. Some people are capable of recognizing that before seeing a film, so what?
Do you defy this being anything other than cashing in on an established title & setting? The reality isn't as fun, most mouth breathers like to be ignorant to this sort of shit and just enjoy the ride, some don't. I don't see them being shitty people not worth being around because they are capable of thinking.Comment

I couldn't be friends with a mouthbreather like you, FWIW.[REDACTED]Comment

I'm not going to defend The Hangover's cinematic value but the first was pretty funny, the second one was like watching the same episode of a show yet you still laughed at some parts. I'll see the third one, it costs like 8 bucks.Comment
