I'm all ears of anyone wants to defend that schlock last night though.

Was a top 10 episode for this show in terms of how pointless and boring it was, which is really saying something based on the crap that's been rolling out since the end of season one.

Tonight:

 

-Seeing Judith with Tyreese and the two kids made me think that maybe... either all of them should have ate shit at the prison or Tyreese should have been left of this little group.

Other than the need to have future generations past the original cast members still alive, they're dead weight.

-Darryl dying would officially end the show's fanbase.

Seeing Hershel's other living daughter with him only makes me think, "More Dead Weight."

-Carol showing up?! That spinoff died, didn't it?

-Maggie and Co. lived.

Not surprised.

-Glenn lives... and saves one of the last remaining people from The Governor's Militia 2.0.

I was surprised but they've got air-time to fill and more hubris/pathos to foist upon us with this last bit of episodes.

-Seeing Sgt. Abraham connects this to the comics, which is awesome.

IF they skip the Hunters storyline, it'd be alright with me.

If there is a defense it's the fact when the show is good..it's REALLY good. All this season's episode have been utter crud except the half season finale which was really good. Last season was horrendous outside of maybe 3 eps. One of which was superb.
It does JUST enough to give people hope but after Karl eating pudding with his dad in a coma I'm just done with it as an "Omg it's on" show.
I wouldn't be surprised if the phrase "jump the shark" gets replaced with "ate the pudding" from now on.

I feel like even the shows good episodes dont have that much quality to them. I feel like the shows 4-5 best episodes are mediocre when you compare them to other shows top 4-5 episodes.

Kinda psyched to see Abraham and Eugene. Especially the fact that Abraham is played by Cudlitz. This show semi-redeemed itself. I kept waiting for the baby to get eaten. If they have a baby eating cliffhanger every week, I might keep watching.

I hate to keep trashing this show but these are the worst zombies I have ever seen. They can't turn 12 year old girls. I can take stupid plotlines but worthless zombies in a zombie show is where I draw the line.
