I watched the first season of that and it was pretty decent but the first couple episodes of season 2 lost me, how was the rest of the season?

I'm so happy new TV is back on, the only channels with good shows on the past few months were TNT and USA (and of course HBO/AMC).

I watched the first season of that and it was pretty decent but the first couple episodes of season 2 lost me, how was the rest of the season?

IMO it picked up and got much better after the werewolf saga was over with. After that it started to focus on old school vampires and the origins and motives of Katherine. So much to the point that Elena becomes sort of irrelevant and in the background for awhile.

I'm interested to see what Grimm is like, I saw a trailer for it a couple of months ago and it looks interesting. I was also pretty surprised to hear that American Horror Story has the same creators as Glee.
