It looks like the viral marketing will focus on setting a backstory for the TDKR prologue that will be released next week. The prologue is about Bane, and is rumored to involve him taking down a military jet (scene rumored in shooting while in England).

It's the first ~6 minutes of the film, plus a trailer at the end. They attached a similar prologue to I am Legend 4 years ago, The Dark Knight prologue was the bank robbery scene.

The new prologue involves Bane invading a military airplane in flight in order to capture someone. It was shown to the press yesterday, and got really good reviews.

They'll probably be giving free shit away too.
