Definitely a cool prologue, but I could barely see and articulate what really was going on.

I like how Nolan, instead of simply making Batman films, is making genre films with the Batman Universe as its characters.

Batman Begins was a Kung Fu genre film.
The Dark Knight was a Gangster flick.
The Dark Knight rises looks like a Terrorism genre film.

Most directors aren't savvy enough to take this approach to the Comic Book films...they just make straight up super hero flicks...

My expectations are low and I've shyed away from allllllllll the nonsense that has leaked on the internet over the past year or so, but after seeing that trailer I'm having a hard time containing my boner.

I thought the first was Meh...the second was "good"...but this trailer had me very much holy shit.

I have to think as to why. These are good films ..maybe Its my dislike for Bales gruff grunting voice or the way Bruce Wayne is written...or my loyalty to the 89 Batman and Tim Burton.
