I tried watching Zooey's show for the same reason you guys have. But she plays to stupid of a character for my taste. I liked her as Andy's crazy ex-girlfriend on Weeds. She's not hot enough for me to keep watching...and I found it hilarious that after the pilot they replaced the black guy.

None of the canceled shows really brought anything new that the viewers havent seen before.
I didnt know Kat Dennings was on a tv show... shes so hot to me.

The best part of this, is Wayans took the gig on New Girl because Happy Endings was a steaming pile of shit that NOBODY expected to get picked up for a full run, and it even shocked the cast & crew when it did. Half of the people associated with the show had moved on.Comment

I love that you still give all of these shows a chance. I was once like that, even watching shit like Veronica's Closet and Get Real* ... but around two years ago I just gave up.
*- did anyone else watch this show? It was on FOX for like 10 episodes before getting canceled but had Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway in it.

Here is the team I drafted in my primary "new show death pool" (yes, primary, sadly I do multiple leagues):
Prime Suspect - Very proud I nailed this one. Not dead yet, but it's obviously coming.
H8R - CW trash about fans who hate D-list celebs. Risky because it's CW, and it's cheap to produce.
Grimm - Modern cops solve crimes based around the stories of the Brothers Grimm. C'mon, this is a fucking layup.
Once Upon A Time - Wiki symopsis: The series is loosely inspired by the classic fairy tale stories except set in the present day, hence the series name. The stories hold a key to the mystery that will draw a bail bonds collector and the son that she gave up for adoption 10 years earlier to a New England town called Storybrooke, Maine. This town is actually a parallel world in which fairy tale characters look like normal people and don't remember their true identities or anything about their true lives.
Man Up - Three buds living together, who decide its time to put down the video games and MAN UP! Tyical sitcom 'hilarity' ensues.
I BADLY wanted to draft 'Heart of Dixie', which stars Rachael Bilson as a fucking heart surgeon (!) who moves to rural Alabama to find love. My god. Somebody picked it one spot before me. RACHAEL BILSON AS A HEART SURGEON.Comment

No way this gets canceled, it's going to at least do as well as shit like 90210 and Gossip Girl. Every sorority girl from Baton Rouge to Gainesville is huge into this show. I think you dodged a bullet with it being taken a pick earlier.

I remember watching a show called "Miss Match", which featured Alicia Silverstone as a matchmaker or something (anyone?). So after about 10 episodes, the show just isn't on the next week. Or the next. Then the network says the show is being put on hiatus and the next episode will air in March. March comes, nothing. Then a few months later, the official announcement that the show is canceled.Comment

I've been watching alot of new shows this season and yes, i've watched and even liked a few shows most people dont. The only 2 shows i've actually given up on right now are Ringer and Prime Suspect. The Playboy Club, 2 Broke Girls, Pan Am and Charlies Angels I do like but do realize they wont last long, TPC already out. The shows I feel are more promising are Person of Interest, Terra Nova, and Homeland.
Also, dont know why, but I recently decided to start watching 30 Rock, and it has some good laughs, but still dont like Tracy Morgan
