I'm just disgusted about Whitney getting a "likely renewal" but Community is on the bubble....Whitney is such a generic show.
I only hear awful things about Whitney so I have no idea how it's still around. I think people might be tuning in because they hate it, and they want to see how unlikable it gets.
I watched one segment and was done. She is not funny at all and not very attractive either, so what the fuck is she doing on my TV? Have to be one or the other. Preferably both.
Saw Bianca Kajilich mention on Twitter that Rules of Engagement is effectively cancelled. A new Rob Schneider sitcom called "iRob!" about a middle aged bachelor that marries into a conservative Mexican family is going to take its place later this fall. The remaining 5 episodes of ROE will be shown sometime in the spring.
Why does CBS think we want to replace this
with this?
ROE was incredibly funny with a great cast. It really delivered on ratings if you consider the network never would give them a set slot and moved them all over the week
I watched the pilot of Prime Suspect, and about 5 mins of the 2nd episode before I stopped, just wasnt interesting. I actually like TPC, there was a nice plot building up, and ironically, the same guy investigating the death in TPC is now on Boss pretty much doing the same, but not as a mob guy. I've lost my interest in Pan Am, but Ashley Greene in it might be interesting, got a crush on her, sad to see Fringe might come to an end, there is a nice plot starting up on that too, and would hate a cliffhanger. I only watch CSI NY, but yea, I can be cancelled, no real story building up. Watching Grimm now, and I might be done with it, really behind on POI, but I want it to prosper, TN is done I think, I used to look forward to watching it, but now its kind of like a chore. I quit Ringer, but there was a good story I was hoping would happen, but it wasnt what I expected, and i'd honestly be happy if it was gone. OUAT is a bit of a chore too, Morrison is attractive, but its like watching plank. I actually like Suburgatory, but its not for everyone, its kind of like Meloni in the Harold and Kumar series, you see him being so serious on L&O, then turns around and does comedy, just like Sisto. New to Modern Family but I think its pretty funny, and I'm probably the only one here who enjoys 2 Broke Girls. I like Seth M., but I quit American Dad awhile ago, I prefer Family Guy. And sad to see Chuck leaving, but its always been on the bubble after every season, they knew in advance they were done so hopefully they wrap it all up nicely
I'm relatively satisfied with the new shows I'm watching this year, and it looks like they'll all survive: Terra Nova, American Horror Story, Grimm, Once Upon A Time, New Girl, Last Man Standing, and Up All Night.
I do hope that House is in it's final season. I pretty much watch it just because I've always watched it. It's the exact same shit over and over...time to end it.
