Glad it got canned, but still might find a new home. Felt like it had straight to DVD qualities to me, acting, writing, and especially sfx.

It's successor in the time slot, Alcatraz, will be next

That's the problem, looks low budget, but actually has a huge budget. The 2-hour premiere had one of the highest budgets ever for a primetime TV show. The basic fact remains....sci-fi themes simply do not work on network primetime TV anymore. I enjoy Fringe, personally, but Fox has had the "Band-Aid" on this for 2yrs now. It's ratings are awful.

Agreed. Watched the first three episodes before just turning away. Some of the stuff was interesting though (a couple mysteries, the whole gimmick of going back into time because the present day environment is horrible, dinosaurs).

With all the good shows that got cancelled...why start with this one?

I watched the pilot and the episode after and I REALLY want to like the show because I think Alcatraz is an amazing subject....but for some reason the show just can't hold my attention.

I think it's the characters. Honestly the woman and Hurley dont seem like a tandem that can take down deadly killers. Doesn't seem believable

Unless its Jurassic Park, people dont seem to care much for dinosaurs.
