My favorite movie of his is Mall Rats and the Evening With series is great.

Not a huge fan of Kevin Smith but I do love a few of his movies. Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back are my two most liked of his.

I liked it. I like all his movies except Cop Out, that sucked.

I don't know man, I haven't been a Smith fan since Chasing Amy (not to say that I haven't BEEN a fan, just haven't paid attention) and back then I feel like I saw it on a Mallrats DVD extra or something.

I'll tell you this, I definitely didn't make it up. Perhaps he said that Mallrats was "overhated" instead of underrated? It was definitely something because while I liked Mallrats I didn't love it enough for that to stick with me as some boon for why Smith loved it o whatever.

Mallrats is great. The only problem is some of the acting sucks so bad at certain points that it detracts from the movie (looking at you, whichever irrelevant London brother this was).

But you can certainly say that about Clerks also.
