Kenny's fall from grace and subsequent comeback as a player parallels his redemption as a human being. In this season we have seen how lonely Kenny is, and how desperately he needs/wants to salvage his last remaining personal relationships. (Rescuing Stevie from Schaefer plantation, clinging to Shane and claiming he was his best friend despite only knowing hm for a few months, and trying to win April back.)
But throughout, he is just a total asshole lacking in self-awareness.Comment

Oh, you mean him doing ecstasy, dancing like a fool at a high school dance and then vomiting everywhere? I just thought that was hilarious and that's it. But maybe I just have a sick sense of humor from seeing so much crazy shit at work.Comment

It's excellent writing because it can be both of these things at the same time. Not only that, but most of the time I just feel bad for the fucker.Comment

I think this season has been good but not great.
You can tell when McBride improvises or adlibs some of his shit, often times not saying anything funny, and often times nailing it by dropping a L O L quote.
Guess it just kinda comes with the territory.
The last episode and episode 3 were hilarious, the first and second were funny, the 4th and 5th were pretty shitty to be honest. The funeral episode was complete garbage.Comment
