    Houston does Christopher Nolan [NSFW]

So the other day I was sitting around and I thought to myself "Hey, I should watch all of Christopher Nolan's films". So I've decided to do just that.

Follow/comment along if you want, as I make my way through his filmograhpy.

My goal? To understand this modern day...VSN proclaimed "genius" that I'll inevitably have to hear about for years to come.

The presentation of this thread: C-, as you can see for yourself.
Write-ups: D, never been good at writing.
Progression speed: B-, I like to procrastinate and these wont be the only movies I watch.
Just so you have an idea of what you're in for.

Without further adieu, lets get this party started! :crowd:

If you haven't watched all of his movies yet, you clearly suck at life.

I like aronofsky more than nolan.

However I can't wait to see what Houston has got to say about these films

Going on my own little Nolan watching spree now, Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception, might watch Memento later. Only two movies of his I havent watched are Following and Insomnia.

I think you should watch them from oldest (Following) to newest (Inception).

Yeah that's what I'm doing. Following is only 70 mins so I can easily fit that in tonight.

Good stuff, especially considering the small budget. The acting was nothing special but I like the way the characters were done. They're all mysterious to start off with, and you learn bit by bit only to find out at the end none were even who they seemed to be the entire time. Nothing special when one character does it, but pretty cool when they all do.

Started off pretty fast paced, my only complaint was that it slowed down enough for the end to become predictable. Also it wasn't misused, but I'm not sure the non-linear time line was really needed for this.

The movie was only 70 minutes, I wonder if a more standard running time would've made it better or worse.
