No surprises there, I think I remember nflman being a big fan of Requiem for a Dream and defending The Wrestler.

I only made it like 15 minutes until I turned it off. Big red flag when Marlon Wayans is in a movie I'm suppose to be taking seriously.

I haven't watched R.O.A.D yet but when I saw Wayans was in it I was like

Yes, along with and Pi, and the Black Swan.

All movies better than Insomnia, Following, and the Prestige.

The Prestige is one of the best movies of the last decade. Brilliantly acted all around.

Requim For A Dream is utter trash. Over acted, awful, boring plot, and some of the worst imagry and storytelling i've ever seen in a movie. That movie tries way too hard. Bottom 5 all time for me.

Requiem for a Dream uses that same fucking song 20 times. Sorry, but if that's your whole soundtrack, I can't watch.

Cheap shot if you're comparing that guys best to random Nolan films. Unless you think those are Nolans best?

The entire movie is a repetitive bore.

Don't forget the worst Brooklyn accent of all time from Jared Leto, typical annoyingness from Jennifer Connelly and the most unimaginative narrative arc of all time.

Wait, did I say arc? I meant a descending plane, since it only goes in one direction ... here's a visual representation of the "arc" of that shitty movie:
