Sypnosis
Famed explorer Dr. Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood) went looking for magic deep in the uncharted Amazon and never returned. The shocking truth about his disappearance is out there, somewhere, just waiting to be discovered. To the millions of kids who grew up watching his nature show, Dr. Cole was a hero. To his own son, Lincoln (Joe Anderson), he was more of an enigma. Now, six months after he vanished, Lincoln is finally ready to bury the past when Dr. Cole's emergency beacon suddenly goes off. At the urging of his mother, Tess (Leslie Hope), Lincoln reluctantly joins her on a search for his father. To fund the rescue, they agree to let Dr. Cole's cagey ex-producer, Clark (Paul Blackthorne), film the mission documentary-style. The mixed crew of old friends and new acquaintances includes the sexy and resourceful Lena (Eloise Mumford), loyal mechanic Emilio (Daniel Zacapa) and lethal bodyguard Captain Kurt Brynildson (Thomas Kretschmann).

Already watch Falling Skies, and Terra Nova, might as well watch a 3rd Spielberg show. Dont know why, but I thought it was a show around a reality show or something, half right, there is a camera involved, lol

Personally, the hype was all for the pilot, one of the latest episodes spent the entire episode around a amnesia type virus. There are some interesting sub plots starting up though, so i'll keep watching

Paranormal Activity Island: The Series

 

Found some things very like the PA series. Not sold on the show, alot of weirdness, obviously, but more than I expected. Alot of weird things happened, was it a person attacking the ship early on, or a animal, or spirit? It seemed to do most of the damage to the outside of the ship, but still somehow damaged the engines, not that it mattered, was magically fixed in an unseen cut before the keep going down the river. Weird bugs and one lands in the person who doesnt speak any English and is meant as the spirit of the guy who is actually still alive. And dolls that can move their heads and eyes, and a tree that doesnt want the teddy bear. Spirit dragging people underwater and just wants a corpse. And did the mother pop up in the grave they just dug up? Wasnt sure.

A little too like Paranormal Activity, not a really bad thing, but can get old quick and I still dont think this show will last more than one season, would have made a better movie or mini series.

Personally, I say no, unless you are a big Paranormal Activity fan. Shares alot of the same traits.
