Recommend me a tv series to watch (new or old)

I'm disappointed that nobody has mentioned Supernatural. Yes, it's on the WB. Yes, it has 2 hunky dudes as the leads.

However, this has the tightest story of pretty much anything that's been on TV for the last 4-5 years. If you do choose to watch, season 1 starts pretty slow (monster of the week), season 2 is really good, season 3 is great...and seasons 4 and 5 are pretty much the best 2 season run of any show I've seen in a very, very long time.

Do yourselves a favor, check it out. The show is legitimately entertaining, and pretty damned funny at times. 7 seasons and going strong.

Dude what the fuck is wrong with America or more importantly with me at the time this show was on air. This is probably the greatest show tv has ever had to offer.

Before I watched it I would kind of joke about people who said it shouldn't have been cancelled because hey, if it was that great it wouldn't have been cancelled. But I was wrong, dead wrong. Like the guy who picked Ryan Leaf wrong.

Glad you're in Season 2. That entire season is manically funny. Season 3 is just the depressing realization that it's all going to end and they make it into one massive joke.

Still great, but Season 2 is the delicious high point.

I picked up the first 5 seasons of this over the holidays for $10/piece and am about halfway through season 2 right now. It's really good, plus I LOVE the all-classic rock soundtrack.

i see alot of people talk about the league, whats the consensus on it? Ive never watched an episode. I heard an interview on sirius with Stephen Rannazzisi and he seemed funny yet incredibly douchy.

Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are superb.

AD I cant watch. Ive tried twice. Unbearable first few episodes. I think first ep. had one HA!! moment and nothing else.

Wonder Years on Netflix is great but the damn intro song sucks.

AD thrives on its own mythology. It doesn't really kick into gear until midway through the first season.

It's a solid sitcom. Nothing groundbreaking or anything and the ties to football are loosening, but it's still funny.
