i felt the same way about the wire. i watched 4 shows and lost interest. i couldnt understand what all the hype was about. how could so many people be wrong. i thought about going back and trying again, but just cant muster up the interest. make sure you post if you do keep going and how it ends up for you.

I wasn't believing the Party Down hype, but after the 5th episode I really starting digging it, glad I stayed with it, great show.

Now on to Breaking Bad.....

I'm on the 3rd episode, and it's ok and everything, but does it get better? Usually I give a series to the 4th or 5th episode to keep watching. Right now, I think it's good, but I'm really not digging as much as most viewers. I'm going to give it a few more episodes.

Episode 4 is actually the pivotal point IMO for Breaking Bad.

That whole Krazy-8 storyline sucked, "Should we or should we not kill the drug dealer tied up in the basement who's already taken us out to the desert to try and kill us once" saga was boring, but episode 4 with the whole bathtub mishap and the entrance of Tuco in episode 6, the show goes on an upward trend that still hasn't ended at the end of Season 4.

Keep going with Breaking Bad. It is the greatest show ever and each season is better than the last.

I'm into season 2 on Battlestar Galactica. Its pretty good so far.

Just got "Game Of Thrones" season 1 on blu-ray for my birthday, starting that sometime today or tomorrow.

Also watched the first season of "Workaholics" and just downloaded season 2, really funny show.

The BBC adaption of Sherlock is only 6 episodes long and is fucking fantastic.
