I only started to watch this series a week ago because it finally showed up on Netflix, but I gotta admit - I love The Vampire Diaries. It's not as good as Buffy, but I expected Twilight. It ain't Twilight, but not quite at Buffy level.

It turns into Twilight though. Halfway through season 3, that show takes a massive shit in quality.
