    BBC Sherlock

Has anyone else seen this series.

Only two seasons out with six episodes total, but each one is great.

The first season is on netflix so you can see if you like it there and the rest you can torrent or stream.

I saw the first season. Really good, but odd to call it a season when it was three episodes. I'll wait until the second season comes out on PBS or BBC America. I know a third is coming, too.

BTW, I picked out Moriarty fairly quickly. NO ONE is unimportant in these, and when they introduced a guy for what seemed like a one-off scene, I knew he had to be someone. When Moriarty was mentioned...

I have it in my Netflix instant queue, but I haven't watched it yet. I've heard some good things about it lately though. So, I'll probably watch it soon.

I thought the two episodes were really good. By roommate didn't like it, said it was too slow. But he doesn't like the movie Heat either, may have ADD.

the 1st episode may have been a little slow with the spotlight on watson and what he thinks about sherlock, but all the spotlight goes to sherlock each episode after.

Fucking quality, shame each set is only three episodes long, but each one is 90 minutes so your still getting 4 1/2 hours for each season, which as far as British TV shows is pretty stock standard (The entire UK Office - 2 seasons plus the Christmas Special barely hits that length for its entire run time).

Waiting 12 more months for Season 3, especially after that ending is going to be a bitch.

Defiantly like it better then the recent big screen films, Cumberbatch and Freeman just seem to make a better Holmes/Watson than Downey Jr and Law.

BTW, I picked out Moriarty fairly quickly. NO ONE is unimportant in these, and when they introduced a guy for what seemed like a one-off scene, I knew he had to be someone. When Moriarty was mentioned...
I didn't pick him as Moriarty, but thought he wasn't all he seemed, seemed just a bit to "over the top" to just be a throwaway character for Sherlock to show off his gaydar.

How fucking good is the actor playing Moriarty though, love how they've turned him from some old man crime lord to someone who is just blatantly bat shit crazy and wreaking destruction just for shits and giggles, kind of like a British Joker without the face paint.

Personally, the first episode is still my favorite. I love this show.

Don't click link if you haven't seen the end of Season 2.

Lame. Although was probably always going to be the case with the actors for both Holmes and Watson still busy with the Hobbit (Freeman is Bilbo, while Cumberbatch is playing/voicing both Smaug the Dragon and Sauron).

And have a feeling that the CBS version is going to be an abomination, if the Americans are going to make their own version of a modern day Holmes, at least get HBO, AMC or Showtime to do it.

I powered through the last four episodes over the weekend. Now I have to wait for a year for more?

I loved the way they introduced the traditional Holmes deerstalker hat, and his weird relationship with the morgue girl.
