Then a bunch of lesser knowns that I will hopefully showcase in this thread.
I used to be into the underground scene and would listen to all of those dudes back in the day. Fell out of the loop for a while though because I just got tired of hunting down new hot shit all the time.

Some I listened to back in the day:

    Zion I
    Souls of Mischief
    J. Live
    Pharcyde
    Sage Francis
    Swollen Members
    Styles of Beyond
    Celph Titled
    Aesop Rock
    Aceyalone
    Livin Legends
    Jedi Mind Tricks

Any of you heard this dude?

Not trying to steal your thread, you seem to have a very similar taste and I have been out of the scene so thanks for the thread. Definitely checkin out all the shit you post.

Getting this up again... forgot about it once I started posting it in my blog.

      Organized Konfusion
      07 - Bring It On.mp3 - 3.10MB

Pharoahe Monch and Prince Po bring this early 90's rap group to the stage, and Bring It On brings one of the DOPEST verses you will ever hear in rap. Pharoahe Monch destroys everything in life during his first verse. A lesson on flow and vocal control.

Now that's what I'm talking about, this is my favorite type of rap.

The beat reminds me of "n1ggaz Talk Shit" by Black Moon. You ever listened to them? Their CD "Enta Da Stage" has some badass songs I like but I don't know much about them.

I'll definitely be downloading some more Organized Konfusion now.

Yeah I listen to Black Moon. I'll have to re-visit that CD, haven't heard it in a bit.

Can't go wrong with 90's rap.

So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Here we go, here we go.

I let this gem out a week or two ago in chatbox. Company Flow created a masterful CD in early 2000s called Funcrusher Plus. The point of the CD was to kill all the fun that rappers were having (hence funcrusher), as El-P, Bigg Jus, and Mr. Len creating this great underground group. They were tired of all the glorifying of hip hop that was going on, so they made this CD as a big "fuck you" to rappers everywhere.

                              Great Live Caper

When I was about 16 I made an underground rap CD that was my first true taste of the amazing music. I can't really remember many songs on that CD, but this was one. Amazing song, and he sort of reminds me of Eric Sermon in this joint.

I love the beat and like the style of lyrics. Only listened to it once, so I'm sure alot of good lyrics slipped me by.

One of these dudes remind me of another rapper but I just can't put my finger on it.....
