I picked up the first 2 episodes, gonna watch the 3rd tonight.


New Spartacus is alright, he really can't replace the original. Story is still cool and all from what I'm seeing.

I thought the prequel season was cool and a nice way to continue the story without actually being able to move forward, but it felt a full step down from the actual full first season. This season feels on-par with the prequel... its good but not great. The first season felt pretty close to great.

New guy sucks. No range in acting.. and he looks like skinny fat pussy.

Andy Whitfield was believable as the bad ass leader. This guy just seems like he's trying too hard to act tough and its not really working.

Plus, he doesn't look like someone who is a champion gladiator. He looks more like a servant. Every other gladiator looks like they could whip his ass, even his girl friend looks like she could give him a good fight.

Only disappointment was Ashur being killled off and in such a shitty way as well

I liked how they turned the graphic violence up to 11 for the season finale. But yeah, does not make up for a pretty mediocre season.
