Good thing the Brit and the old man storyline kind of died off because that sucked.

The Shoshanna-Ray thing caught me by surprise but as soon as I realized it, it makes sense that they will have their storyline because both are well liked characters that aren't getting any screen time.

It will be interesting to see the Hanna-Adam relationship dynamic.

Marnie and her pussy boyfriend are starting to drag on but that's probably gonna last for a long time.

Watched all seven episodes this week. I think this is my first new TV series since...Dexter? It's been that long.

I'm liking it so far. I love the Brooklyn scene and the odd characters that inhabit it. Lena Dunham (Hannah) has the weirdest looking body, she definitely has some serious self-confidence to show herself naked and getting fucked almost every episode. I don't like Adam too much, weird dude but his character definitely works well with Hannah. Marnie is hot of course, she reminds me of a typical rich daddy Jersey girl with no sense of reality. Jessa is an interesting character, but her story-lines have sucked so far. Shoshanna is definitely my favorite character right now. Usually I hate that girly-girl shit but it works here because none of the other girls are like that. It also helps that we have the same large baggage

To use a pro wrestling term, Jessa has go away heat with me. She fucking sucks, I eye roll as soon as she hits the screen and I pray her scenes are short. Fuck that limey, I hope they kill her off in a fiery auto wreck.

And if you really take the time to look at her face, she is hideously unattractive. She looks like a muppet.

This is why I find it so weird/odd/awkward when all the characters on the show trip over each other to compliment how gorgeous and worldly and stunning she it, blah blah blah. None of that rings true when I'm watching the show. I'm just like "really? This is the "IT" girl of your social circle?"

IRL she is best friends with Dunham, so I guess Lena just really thinks her friend is awesome??

Yeah, she plays the exact same character in Tiny Furniture...quirky euro cousin in from out of town, everybody in awe of her. Something tells me we aren't dealing with a gifted thespian here.

I thought it was funny how Hannah's dad wore that earring in the first episode. Then the gay ex-boyfriend questioned it to Hannah, and then the next time they showed the dad again the earring was gone.
