The more I am forced to watch this show...the more I'm just grossed out by Lena Dunham. She wears some of the most unflattering clothing I've ever seen a female wear...straight up People of Walmart type clothing. She also feels the need to show us her completely unflattering body for 3/4 of the show...the other 1/4 is her waxing poetically about being a fucking bum.

Seriously...I say this with no hyperbole, this show is the worst show on TV.

I checked IMDB to see what the deal with her excessive nudity was and apparently she does it because, paraphrasing, "society and Hollywood's norms for how women's bodies should be are completely out of whack and she wants to be in everyone's face about how a regular woman's body is". That's enough for me. I'm done with this shitty show. If she wants to make a statement, she can do it without showing her fat, naked, titless body on television every week.

I happened to catch the last episode on HBO last night, it was pretty fucking pointless. A lot of people can't get past the gratuitous nudity, probably because she doesn't have a very attractive body, but beyond that I just think it makes for a fucking boring viewing experience. Even if she was hot.

If I wanted to watch Patrick Wilson have sex with someone for 20 minutes I'd put in Watchmen. But even with Malin Ackerman, that scene is also boring as all fuck.

Nah it's definitely a show you watch 2-3 episodes of sporadically when you are bored late night and nothing else is on, and after each time you're like "eh."

Fairly certain if I tried to watch a season of this show "all at once" I would be asleep before reaching the halfway point of the season.
