Adam & Ray carry Girls. Although Marni's slow decent into insanity is fun to watch, too.

I'm fascinated at how Lena Dunham got here. The film she made in college was awful top to bottom. The story and dialogue was bad sure, but you couldn't even give her a pat on the back for the technical aspects of it. Someone must have told the cameraman he was shooting a sequel to The Blair Witch project. I almost threw up in the 2 mins I spent watching it(for a number of different reasons).

Tiny Furniture looked equally bad from the 10 minutes or so that I lasted.


Whatever level of quality Girls is, it's amazing that she reached it. To say she's at the top of her game right now is an understatement. Girls is the product of someone who's batting way out of their league.
