In Bruges is the only movie that holds a candle to Fight Club in terms of my favorite.

I meant that the two main characters were forced to be buddies by circumstance; they really did not like each other, but come together in the end to face a common enemy.

I disliked Captain America. Visually was great , costume design , sets everything.
The first half hour before he gets his super soldier serum is great also. But it nosedives after that along with Captain Americas charisma.
This and Iron Man 2 being so mediocre is what killed my ferver for Avengers. But will see it hope its better than those to movies.

Aragorn is what makes that picture badass, not some horse. The character nobody knows the name of without google or imdb is 1/64 the badass Aragorn is.

The source material is chock full of storytelling potential and the portrayals of these people are incredible. In the beginning, Cronenberg did a really good job of making me feel uncomfortably attracted to Knightley's Sabina Spielrein. David Cronenberg is known for his sci-fi movies and more recently, his violent crime films but there plenty of flashes in the movie where you get a Cronenberg feel. A Dangerous Method substitutes the psychology in Cronenberg's other work for the psychology of psychologists. So meta. A Viggo Mortensen collaboration once again and he plays Freud with some kind of evil charisma oozing off of him, but the movie is Michael Fassbender's, who continues to have phenomenal performance after phenomenal performance. His scenes with Vincent Cassel are so engaging, I wanted so much more from them besides their two or three scenes. This probably not something I would go out of my way to watch again, but it was pretty good.
Spoiler Alert - They all die well after the story takes place. Knightley's Sabina Spielrein is killed by the SS 20 years after the film.

This movie is comparable to the Hangover in one way - they're both overrated. Sure, this movie is pretty funny, but it's not omg funniest movie evaaarrrr. The airplane scene is the only part where I can actually remember laughing pretty hard. Shitting your pants in wedding dresses is pretty disgusting, but that's funny to me. Fat chick raunchy humor can only do so much before it starts disgusting me. Melissa McCarthy was funny, but what the hell did she get nominated for an Oscar for?! Also, fuck Mike & Molly. Jon Hamm is a dreamboat, even when he's a prick. This one got caught up in the hype machine and that hurt it. Maybe if I would have seen it sooner I would have liked it more.

One of the biggest pieces of trash in the history of cinema. Overly CGI, annoying characters, terrible characterization and acting, embarrassing villains, poor directing, I could go on forever, baby! Seriously, Ryan Reynolds - re-evaluate your career choices. Go back to being a sarcastic prick in shitty comedies, THANKS! Martin Campbell, Casino Royale must have been some sort of fluke, because all your movies are trash. Whoever did the CGI in this movie should probably kill themselves, too. Everything look unbelievably fake, even Ryan Reynolds abs. As terrible as the movie is, though, it'll certainly turn into a "so bad it's entertaining" type of drinking game movie a la Tokyo Drift or Goldmember.

I think Bridesmaids been much better if it was actually about the bridesmaids, and not Kristen Wig's problems. I could've sworn from the previews that these girls were gonna go on some sort of trip and give us a full weekend worth of plane scenes. Instead the Bridesmaids are cut off like halfway through, and the rest of the time is spent on Kristen Wig falling in love with a nice guy cop and chasing her dreams or something. Not that it was real funny to begin with but it changed from a comedy to a chick flick and got boring.

Another review I has written out and somehow lost all of it, I'll just be simple with this - It's raunchy, it's smart, it's heartfelt, it's funny and it's got plenty of nostalgia and homage. Frost and Pegg have some of the best chemistry out of any comedy duo around and even though the jokes seem a bit overdone (gay nerds! raunchy alien!), the chemistry between the three leads keeps you invested and allows you to accept some of the easy jokes they go for. Jason Bateman plays a great dumb asshole as the agent searching for Paul. It's refreshing to see him like this instead of playing Michael Bluth all the time. The supporting cast is great as well with Kristen Wiig playing a much funnier character than in Bridesmaids and Bill Hader, Jeffrey Tambor, David Koechner, Joe Lo Truglio and Jane Lynch providing some quick entertainment whenever they are on screen (even if it's not for long).

This movie provides Buzzman with a safe alternative to Viagra and because of that, I avoided this movie. Once a female friend forced me to watch it, gushed throughout each of the Ryan Gosling parts and then proceeded to have sex with me after, I jumped the fence I had been sitting on. It's unlike most rom-coms, even though it still follows the basic formula, but the charisma of the three leads - Gosling, Steve Carell and Emma Stone - is what holds this movie together. Instead of being a basic guy chases girl, consults friends and parents for help rom com, CSL adds layers and complexity not seen in the genre. Carell's wife (Moore) leaves him and their safe, boring marriage after falling for another guy (Bacon). While coping in a bar, he runs into Gosling's character, a ladykiller who takes him under his wing, but winds up finding someone (Emma Stone) and learning more from Carell than previously thought. Meanwhile, Carell's son is in love with the babysitter who is actually obsessed with Carell. These things are not new or original, but they feel fresh. The "twist" can be seen from miles away, by the way, but it does not take away from the hilarious chain of events that follow. Something unheard of in rom-coms that is evident here is how smart and genuine it feels. Romantic comedies are generally paint by numbers with the easiest, dumbest joke being thrown out at every opportunity. Crazy, Stupid, Love never takes the easy way out and the mix between drama and comedy is almost entirely perfect. It seems as though this movie was written by a human being, not a robot. One of the smarter comedies to come out in recent years, Crazy, Stupid, Love has created something that all rom-coms should follow.
