Watched Big Fish with my dad, that got me. The scene at the end with his father, obviously.

The entire movie, My Life, with Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman. It is about a man who finds out that his wife is pregnant with their child and is then stricken with cancer and given a few months to live so he starts video taping messages for his child to watch in the future.

A month or so it was released in the theaters in 1993, I was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer and given a few months to live. My wife was 3 months pregnant with our first child and all I wanted to do was live long enough to hold her one time before I passed.

I can't remember the last time I cried in a movie, but the last one to come close was Sarah's Key. Holy hell that was an emotionally painful movie.

Do not watch this if you've never seen the series.

I just watched it again for the first time in years and started to get teary eyed. One of the most powerful scenes I've ever seen. Just thinking about being in any of their shoes gets to me, just think about stumbling upon something like that for the first time. I can't imagine the feeling.

There have been scenes that have made my eyes water up, but never full on tears.

This right hear though...couldn't control it. I know for a fact that it affected other people around my age the same way.
