Got through the first half of the CD this morning and liked pretty much every song.

Agreed, but I do enjoy him on some features. His verse on Kanye's Devil in a New Dress was one of the best verses on that album.

This album is sick. I don't know what other rap/hip-hop albums have come out this year but this is impressive, which is funny to say because we all know how capable Nas is.

The flow on "Nasty" is...nasty.

This might be Nas's fourth best album right behind Illmatic, IWW and The Lost Tapes. My hip-hop AOTY at this point.

There isn't a track I'm not feeling (although I'm very disappointed with Summer on Smash's bass in the car, doesn't bump at all). Production is solid to great all the way through as well. Loving No I.D.'s fresh recreation on 90s boom bap with Loco-Motive and A Queens Story and the jazz influence on Stay (I seriously could listen to that instrumental for hours).

The guest spots are nice as well. Rick Ross speeds up his flow on Accident Murderers and doesn't seem over-matched on his verse, Amy Winehouse's hook on Cherry Wine is beautiful and Mary J's is great on Reach Out. I even admittedly enjoy Miguel's attempt at rapping on Summer on Smash, which despite my approval of the track, don't believe it fits the album well.

I seriously don't know if I need any new music for the rest of the year with this and Channel Orange.

Loved this album from start to finish, other than Swizz Beats' fuckin up another song...I have no skips on this Album. Loving most of the beats on this album, especially on Accident Murderers....Love that Track even if Rick Ross gave u generic rick Ross verse #46 while Nas stayed with the concept..
