Hendrix reborn on the streets of Dublin: OutKast star André 3000 reincarnates Jimi with a strong resemblance
André 3000 is perhaps the ideal actor to star as the late great rock legend Jimi Hendrix in the big screen biopic.
The OutKast rapper is not only a great musician but he also pays a strong resemblance to the US Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.
Andre, real name Andre Benjamin, was seen on the set of All Is By My Side, earlier today outside The Stag's Head pub in Dublin, Ireland.

The 37-year-old was dressed in full Hendrix costume sporting a big afro and a 1960s psychedelic outfit. He wore a pair of tight purple trousers with black boots and colourful shirt with cuffs and collar that matched his bell bottoms.
Benjamin strutted down the street with a swagger just like that of Hendrix, as he puffed on a cigarette moments before his fight scene.
Andre was being shown how to do an argument convincingly with co-star Hayley Atwell, by a stunt co-ordinator.
The cast and crew were not keen on having their leading man photographed and tried their best to obscure the behind-the-scenes pictures from being taken.
The Ms. Jackson singer had campaigned hard to get the movie made but has come up against one major hurdle in quest to see Hendrix on the big screen.
According to reports, Hendrix's estate has not given permission for any of the guitarists songs to be used in the film, so the movie will need a new soundtrack.

'It's kinda like, until you are on set doing it you can't say what's going on.'
